20 amp charging default on Porsche Mobile Charger Connect

I never had an issues, always charged at 40 Amps, then during the recall the dealership wanted the charger to update its firmware...ever since then no matter how many times I set it to 40, it always defaults back to 20amp after it sleeps....this has resulted in it not meeting its target charge state and an absolute annoyance...I cant find any obvious settings but not sure if something is faulty. Has anyone had this issue or know of any fixes?
