lol, no, they just got done reducing it from 270kW to 200kW (as an option, I know).

I don’t see 350kW anytime soon.

Happy to hear if someone knows otherwise…

There are 350kw chargers in Connecticut. Does this mean we can’t use them?

350 kW is aspiration - 270 kW is currently the stated max charge rate - interviews with porsche engineers have notes that even 270 kW is hard on the current battery tech for longevity which is why they have an optional 200 kw setting

I think we’ll need bigger batteries and some other tech advances to get closer to 350 kW charge rate…

it’s not that we can’t charge at that rate -its that doing so will accelerate battery degradation - so it‘s all about warranty mgmt.

so for now - the “limit” is 270 kW - any faster and Porsche didn’t like the lonevity impact on the battery.
