You do not receive map updates without the yearly sub, so that would explain the old version
Subscription to what? I have a paid subscription to Porsche Connect. Is there something else I need?

No, just porsche connect.

Maybe something is not working for you.

I got the update, and now I get audible German VoiceOver when I arrive a nearby a stationary speed scanner, and railroads crossings. My main language in the car is Danish, I also see new icons on the map, such as P for parking spots, and I saw a golf course, as well. Strange it has the VoiceOver when I near a stationary speed scanner, but no icon on the map ???

Did the update, and not sure if related but smart lift function disappeared from PCM and all saved locations not working.

Exact same thing here, must be related to the update because it was working perfectly fine for me before the update.

Does someone know how to get the Smart Lift function back and working again?!

There’s an older thread that talks about the same issue although not necessarily based on a software update.

Some claim that a terminal 8 reset procedure fixes the issue.

Many also stated that it just showed up again a week later.

Definitely some sort of software glitch.

Got the update sunday and it installed without problems. Navigation issues is the same - Tested on a long driver yesterday and it's as buggy as before.

The wording in the update notes could indicate that this is a preparation update to enable future updates. Just like the OTA module update was needed before the BMS update was rolled out.

Let's see.

The dealerships report quarterly on customer satisfaction and main concerns.

The dealership and service center CSAT racket mostly affects Porsche dealership rankings, compensation of service agents and importantly, allocations. The most direct way to give feedback is participating in Porsche owner focus groups / surveys, or for extreme situations, emailing the right execs.
If you ever get a Porsche email requesting a long form survey response - take it. If you respond to everything and do them quickly, they keep coming. That is the medium in which to rant or gush directly back to their Product Marketing folks.

Yesterday I used the satnav on a short trip. I noticed that it still has problems, I had one junction where it didn‘t update after passing until 2kms.
