To much $ for a “base” Taycan. Buy a gently used higher spec CPO for less. Unless they can give you a “special deal” on financing or give you the 7500 credit somehow which is long gone it’s an extremely mediocre “deal”

A couple of real world observations:
  1. I leased a MY21 RWD in May 2021, which was highly optioned. The MSRP of that car was approximately $107K. It was worth after 3 years about $48k, assuming you could find someone who wanted it. The contract lease residual was $53,500.
  2. I replaced it with a very highly optioned MY24 4S. The MSRP was $163,050. My out the door price using a lease was $117,000. My residual is $78,000, slightly less than 48%. The residual would have been higher but the spec exceeded the MRM by a few thousand. The all in discount, including federal credit and OEM credit total 21%.
Your deal is a MY23 and the day you sign for it, it will be worth $79k. The problem is Porsche will not discount aggressively to protect the brand prestige. I would walk from this deal if I could not obtain a price closer to $80k. I would strongly consider a used MY 23 or MY24 4S pre-owned, preferably a dealer owned car that has been sitting for a least 4-6 months with very low mileage.

My 2 cents, if this build is exactly what you want and in your price range, it may be a nice deal. However, if you can find a close match in a 2023 CPO you'll likely save quite a bit of money and the warranty will be almost the same, since CPO extends two additional years.

Also just my opinion, but unless you specifically want a rear drive EV, the 4S is a very nice trim that brings AWD and just the right amount of power for its price point.

Best wishes on your decision.

Looks like a terrible deal. They can’t give these away. See that the wholesale value is, then try halfway between that number and 100k. Or just walk away.
