A lot
Adding new parts to your vehicle goes along with coding of the corresponding control module.
You can do this with PIWIS3 (Porsche software) or VCDS (VAGCOM, Volkswagen).
Any new part will be recognized by the control module, even changing the 12V battery and throw error codes when not coded correctly.

I use VCDS but I don't have the access code for that particular control module.
You'd better see someone who has access to PIWIS3 (your dealer).

Post a picture of your car so we can see.
Rude much?
I did say sorry at the end....did you not see? I have a Neptune Blue GTS and if you check my posts you will see it.

Not my fault that you would put in something that looks like it was made in a cowboy boot factory.

Well when you have a size 16 boot/shoe size you have to know the Owner of a Boot Manufacturer...
You must have been picked on a lot as a kid?

Ok figured what's going on with the Codes.
I was informed that if you disconnect the 12V battery you are going to have Code problems. Evidently the car does not like seeing the 12V battery going away.
It automatically lost my horn and threw a Airbag code.
I also put in a new Clockspring and my car Really didn't like that at all. It threw every code possible and really messed with the car.
Installed my original one back in my car and it went back to no horn, Airbag and Low Power steering.
Luckily my Fabricator partner knew a guy who has a Scanner and brought it up to him.
He ended up clearing 80 Codes in all.
CRAZY CRAZE
So brought it in to the Dealership and they had my vehicle for 6 days.
They fixed the auto roll up on driver side window. Cleared the Low Power steering code and couldn't figure out why I had No Horn.
The Trained Taycan Shop Foreman took the Airbag n wheel off I guess 3 times and Still couldn't find the problem. Then they tried to Charge me $510 for not fixing the horn and said because it's a after market wheel that's the Problem.
It wasn't the wheel that's the problem.
My Fabricating Budd/Partner looked at the wheel for 5 minutes and figured it out. I turned a little plate behind the Airbag around and it wasn't making contact with the other metal plate behind the Airbag.
So all is good.
Except I'm bo longer disconnecting the 12V system which is Scary in it self. When I removed the Airbag from the steering column it STILL threw a Airbag code. Have to visit my buddies buddy again because he can clear that one.
I know people wanted to know how it ended up but not Too Bad.

Strange definitely. Especially someone telling you "Not to disconnect the 12V" Did that come straight from Porsche tech? (Assuming they are in the know)

OP never shared pics of his oversized hands, but I have just stumbled upon his Instagram.

A big boy indeed:

Your technically supposed to disconnect the battery before you take out the Airbag but as soon as you do its a crap shoot which Codes are going to be thrown.
If you do throw some I know someone. That Scanner is really hard to come by and very expensive.

My Partner said you don't have to disconnect the battery to pull the Airbag just be careful.

If you disconnect the 12v battery it's a Crap shoot what codes are going to pop up.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
