Beautiful!!

Stek is my favorite PPF, most clear, least orange peel.
It comes ceramic coated, but that fades after 6 months. Coating in general doesn't stick on PPF for very long anyway.

I read it as “banana” but it’s not too far off!

Honestly looks great though with that color and wheels. Really unique. Doesn’t even look like a Taycan, almost a different car altogether.

I am not sure I would have the courage to do that spec, but having seen it in these photos, I sure hope I get to that place of confidence. Absolutely stunning. Well done.

Bahama yellow is I think the only yellow colour I could do. A few years ago, my local Porsche Centre in Dublin (the only dealership in the country) had a new yellow 911 Turbo S for a great price. They don't do discounts here due to the small demand and marketplace so this was rare value on a new 911 and a Turbo S at that.

It was originally due to go to Thailand but the person who ordered it couldn't complete the purchase due to some crypto/bitcoin issue. Because Thailand drives on the left like Ireland – Porsche Dublin decided to take a chance on it and put it up for sale here.

It was the "free default" yellow and had yellow seatbelts and yellow dials. There was no getting away from the yellow! I considered it seriously due to the price but I couldn't get past the colour. I could see how it could work in warmer/sunnier climates – but it just didn't seem to fit into place here in Ireland.

Later, I stumbled upon this video put out by Porsche of a restored 911 in Bahama yellow and it totally changed my mind on yellow. There is something very interesting about the hues in this colour.



And I think that has opened my mind more to yellow coloured cars in general. It is interesting how you can "grow" into a colour and change your views on them.

While I still much prefer Bahama to regular yellow – I think today I'd be much more open to having a yellow car in general. Even in dreary wet Ireland.

I keep a lookout for that yellow 911 but haven't spotted it out there yet!

I had racing yellow on a Cayman previously - its nice - but so weak compared with Bahama / Signal / Speed yellows. There is a guy up the coast from me in Barrow with both classic 911 and 912 in bahama. He is selling the 912 but I dont have the funds nor do i fit particularly well in the old cars being too tall and too wide.

Was the issue that they were a drug dealer? Or gun smuggler, sex trafficker, money launderer or terrorist?

Because those are the only reasons I can think of as to why someone would try to buy an expensive car with crypto. Everyone else just would use real currencies.

Cool color! And the garage in the photo - which I assume is the Magic Detail location - looks (using British understatement) "properly illuminated" for a detailing shop.
