Hi all, picked up a CPO Taycan 4S in January and just had the HV battery replaced under warranty. The battery replacement itself was easy, no complaints about that, but I have a minor but irksome issue where the Porsche Connect app has not worked since. It won’t update the battery level, doesn’t display location, and doesn’t remote lock/unlock.
I’ve read a zillion threads about Porsche Connect going out, and I’ve tried all the usual fixes with no luck. I’ve never seen any other thread where the loss in data connection was associated with a battery replacement, however.
one final point: when I switch in to privacy mode, the Porsche Connect app reflects that, so there must be some data connection between the app and the car. It just doesn’t do anything else it’s supposed to do.
