Key Battery- needs replacement

Definitely not. Had my Taycan for over 2 years and not had to replace at all yet

Batteries are self replaceable - key fob and PVTS tracker fob.2 year cycle for me.

Is your PVTS fob shaped like a small black door wedge with no aperture to attach a key ring?

I got the low key battery message once. I replaced the key battery ... and the message went away.

Cheers. Guess that’s a deliberate design choice as they probably wish to avoid it being kept on the same key ring as the car key.

Never keep with the key. The system is deactivated if the fob is kept in the car.

If your keys are stolen with a fob attached then you have a problem. Enabling privacy mode would then make tracking tricky.
