Range mode will take the car in the lowest position possible.
Maybe not the best setting for poor roads.

This system makes bends and curves dissapear.
It makes a Porsche chassis even more desirable.
Also entering the car gets signif. more comfortable.
I think it is an option that keeps it's value well in reselling aspects.
True: it's an expensive option...but options/ individualisation is the Porsche-principle.
I'd go for it anytime.

If you're a very easy going driver, you might not need it.
But a Merc would be the more comfy choice than anyway?

Almost every auto media review as well as almost every one of our fellow posters here who have it on their 2025 Taycan rave about it! If someone here would write my wife and me a check for $7,000 U.S., we would definitely, enthusiastically add it into our later order. Yet as I posted above, given our average to good roads, as my wife and I were very happy with the ride on two different 2024 4S CT’s with air suspension, more importantly to us we will use that $7,000 for four very much more important to us other options (and two small cost ones).

YMMV. Or most importantly the thickness of your wallet and your roads may vary….

It is expensive so easy to see why some would find other options more valuable to them.
With the standard settings of the Cross Turismo the superb ride was the first thing I noticed leaving the dealer on my first demo, I haven't experienced the saloon or GTS.
Mine is already the best riding car I have ever owned.

I would probably still choose it but for historical and handling reasons.
