Like they did with the air vents. Remove the simple mechanism for adjusting the direction manually... to spend millions on software and servomotors that break and annoy the owners German ingenuity...

Back in 2023 when I was considering a new SUV for the family, Imthe Rivian felt intriguing but the lack of physical mechanisms for AC and CarPlay was a deal breaker. When I saw the Taycan I didn’t really care lol.
