Panoramic roof with Variable Light Control (VLC) Pictures

We had the same in the Radisson SAS Hotel in Bodø, Norway.

It would be clear:

Until you stepped into the bathroom:

The only issue is the implementation was a bit disconcerting. If it didn't sense movement while you were sitting on the throne – it would revert back to clear after a minute!

So you had to sit there waving your arms to keep it opaque!

Hmmm.... I bet that glass did not cost $3,000 more than non-electronically-opaque.

If they had bundled the VLC in on the overall price …most people wouldn’t give a dam ….if you broke down the overall cost of the car into elements the doors would be $10’000 each .…had they done this a lot of people would be having 1 door Taycans ? saying the price of doors is ridiculous ??

$3,290 is the upcharge from noise and thermally insulated glass roof to VLC. So sure, if the gloss black handles were $10K door upcharge, they probably would not sell many, but people would still have 4 doors.

It isn't the door – its just an internal window – the door is around the corner – but isn't clear from the pictures.

They could have just hung a curtain over the window – but where's the fun in that?
