Yes, echoes of the hypermilers when the Prius first came out. But it’s a Porsche. Drive it like a Porsche should be driven and if you need to recharge a few miles earlier, so be it. If you want to recharge less frequently there are plenty of other EVs out there that would do rather than wasting all that Porscheness.I can see what you are referring to but, driving a 850 hp EV showing low consumption is something new these days.
With a 3,5 liter flat six with 600 hp it's just not possible to drive that efficiently, everybody knows that.
An EV does have that advantage and that just great to see how low you can get it.
Not that I am trying to drive that way but still...
Besides, with EVs you're talking about range so consumption is a key factor, that's why you watch it more than in an ice in general.

I agree!!!i don’t care about consumption at all… but math is math… and if they have 1st class engineers to design & build cars, they should have decent apps as well![]()
Recent trip from NW DC to Annapolis areaI’ve always found the range estimates to be pretty good.
Should have mentioned: MY 25 4S about 1,000 miles on odometerRecent trip from NW DC to Annapolis area![]()
Mighty impressive!Recent trip from NW DC to Annapolis area![]()
I can see similar consumption (about 14kwh/100km) when i’m driving between 60-80km/h ….no overtaking…bit that’s not why we are having Taycans, right?Should have mentioned: MY 25 4S about 1,000 miles on odometer
Good question. I'll have to look. From what I can tell, power consumption and total time for a "trip" includes periods when the car is parked.Mighty impressive!
4.25 miles / kWh (possibility of 408 miles of range with Performance Battery Plus) which is unbelievably good but what does your Total Trip (all time) show for consumption?
