Currently on a PCA drive and dine and at two stations the charging process was killed after the handshake. EA said nothing but the Red E charger said something about insulation error and shut down.

Tried three chargers at EA with no luck. Three chargers at Red E and was able to charge with the fourth. On the trip i was able to charge at EVGo 350kw without a hitch.

i just had the battery recall done, any connection with that work?

A/C charging works fine, but made for a stressful trip.

Is the car showing any error or is it just red?
But yes, I would stop trying and call the service again

No errors on the car. Just the fault on the charging port light.

Couple of things to try:
--After plugging in the DC fast charger plug, hold it up (keep it from dropping) until charging has successfully started. I have found doing that seems to increase my charging success rate.
--Try charging at a different EA site. Don't conclude car is faulty because it would not charge from multiple dispensers at a single EA site.

Good luck.

I had my HV battery replaced just ahead of the ARA4 recall a few months ago due to the red circle of death. My first EA fast charge worked, but then it booted me off after about 15 minutes. Never had that happen in 4 years. EA/Porsche charged me an "idle fee" for my convenance.

When I plugged it in at home, it also gave me an error signal. Switched to the other port and it worked. It has worked ok on level 2 at home since in both ports but have not tried EA since. My fingers are crossed...
