Chassis Error

[Hami]

I started getting the Chassis error about 2 months ago. It usually resolved after shut down and restart and occurred infrequently, perhaps every other week. It now occurs regularly daily and does not reset and restart and if it does it throws the error after 5-10 minutes of driving. I’ve got a dealer visit booked but wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and path to resolution?

Hello neighbor, I have not seen this pop on my vehicle. I have a 2022 RWD model. Maybe us RWD owners are immune from this one!

Taycan Turbo S, 2020 with the major update as of 4+ months ago. When the error occurs it puts the car in Normal mode and does not allow any further changes to the drive.

Do you have air suspension? I wonder if it's a glitch with that.

Air will be standard.

Possibly a sensor error with either the air suspension regulator or suspension struts (PASM). No option but to trek to the dealership unfortunately.

I got the error today. Car drove TERRIBLY (Like driving on 4 marshmallows) until I shut down and restarted an hour later. No issues on the way home. Will be going to the dealer as I'm approaching 50,000 miles soon!

Marshmallow is exactly what it seems. My appointment is in 10 days.

# of days my Taycan has been at the dealership 30 days including service and Tire changes over the last 2.5 yrs.
# of days my 911 was at the dealership for 3 yrs same criteria 5 days in total!

Wait, you’re telling me that a first year model of an entirely new car design that includes entirely new propulsion and braking systems, as well as a myriad of related new technologies, has been less reliable than a seventh generation version of a car model that Porsche has been churning out for 50+ years?! That’s hard to believe.

Any news from your dealer? Mine has been sitting in their parking lot for 2 days, I assume waiting for tech assignment to work on the car.
