my 8yo is still very upset to be losing the TV Tuner and DVD Player currently in the bimmer.

It’s actually very easy. If you have an old iPhone (wouldn’t trust a jailbreak on my current phone due to reliability) you need to jailbreak it and install an app called carbridge. This app allows you to run any app you like through CarPlay. Ch9 app, YouTube etc. Only thing is, there are some limitations, Netflix won’t work, Foxtel go and a few others.

can you still run your main phone for calls etc through PCM at the same time?

That’s the only thing I can’t seem to get working. Apparently it’s possible and another member on this forum says it works, but I can’t have both my jailbreak phone on CarPlay and regular phone on Bluetooth at the same time.

Hang in there mate, it’s well worth the wait.
Due to the lockdown I haven’t even been able to enjoy my car. So annoying!

Had a few hiccups with mine, but after a couple weeks at the dealer, all is now sorted. Fingers crossed for trouble free motoring.

Had a charging issue, AC charging was very slow even though I have 22kw charging. This was fixed with a software update (apparently part of a recall).
Also had an Air condition problem due to some faulty valve (hot air blowing into the car). They ordered that part from Germany and replaced. So far so good, fingers crossed!

Does anyone know if there are any differences in ride height settings on the AU Cross Tourismos?

All my pre-deposit research was based on US/EU reviews. I test drove a 4S sedan last week before ordering a CT because the local Porsche Center in Adelaide didn’t have a CT available for test drives.

I assume that the CT will fully lower in Sport Plus and Range mode but otherwise ride at Max height because I optioned the Off Road Design package. ?

My CT fully lowers in Range mode yes. I have 5 height settings to choose from and it works as you'd expect.

Does anyone have any updates on this? Setting the suspension to low mode, can this be enabled in Australia?
I am aware that this lowered mode does appear once you are up over 100km/hr.
