Custom sun/heat shield for the Cross Turismo 👍🏼😎

Found a solution to my panoramic glass roof in the sun issue. I got a custom made heatshield that fits my roof within 98% accuracy and does a great job blocking out the glare of the summer sun especially when parked outdoor all day.

Yes it's not the most attractive solution but it's 100% functional and very effective. Now I can take my naps in peace when parked at a public fast charger

Hope it works - think Porsche missed a trip by not having an electric shade like the Audi.

Better find a tailor shop and get some cloth on it.
You may even have it in interior color.

I'm registered with these guys. They are in the process of developing a panoramic shade for the CT. Maybe with enough interest, they'll be able to justify pushing to production sooner.

I have the 18 way Sport Seats, awesome for fun driving but can be a little stiff for longer road trips and taking naps (when charging at a public fast charger)

Can you drive with the sunshade on the panoramic roof or is it just meant to be installed when the car is parked ? I have purchased windshield sunshades from them in the past, but never the panoramic roof sun shades. Thanks !

It sticks to the roof via suction cups so it can stay on there while driving, but if you really want to see the sky it pops off very quickly, you can roll it up and throw the cover in the back.

Thanks for the info - much appreciated. Even though my panoramic roof is tinted with Xpel Prime XR plus tint, when parked in the sun on those 105 F days in Northern CA, I can really feel the heat when sticking my hand up near the glass.

Same here, I tried adding 40% tint to my roof and it helped some but didn't block out anywhere near enough light for my liking.
