does anyone know or know where to look to understand the different depreciation rates between Base, S & Turbo? I know gross amounts are different, but I'm curious to know how much better a turbo would hold its value. trying to decide between a T cross tourismo S or Turbo. .....and looking for any justification I can find!

Wholesale prices is what dictates the how much the car depreciates.

Latest sales of Turbo S is around $167k. Not sure of the options.

Turbo is around $140k, options unknown on this too.
These are very low miles cars

Need to factor in $7500 federal tax credit deduction.
Prices have fallen from last month

Plan on 10K per annum which should provide some leeway. Car are in demand, delivery windows are lengthening (global semi-conductor issue is impact all manufacturers now will short time working and complete line stops in some cases) all of which contributes to keep prices stable (or potentially slightly higher).

Generally, base models with high specs don’t fair well and cars with good standard specs (e.g. 4S upwards) will fair better. But there is no such thing as a standard car!

General trend within UK and I guess similar around the world.
