Yes, this is consistent with my conversation with the Porsche Battery technician that I related in a much earlier thread in early October.

https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/t...rwhelming-an-otherwise-great-car.16987/page-5

He suggested to me that I run my car down to 10-20% every month or so and let it sit overnight. I've been doing this, and my SOH has gone from OBD indicated 91.06 (actual SOH measured by the technical using the approved 2-day Porsche measurement was 92.26) to OBD indicated 93.47 over the last six months. Range estimates have improved dramatically as well.

Very interesting...is there a method of checking SOH without having a Porsche tech do it?
I have excellent range currently, but would be interested to know how my battery is doing after home charging on 240v/40amp Porsche charger for 3.5 years.

Sure is, please join this @ciaranob thread and follow instructions on getting a reader and app.
I have been measuring and reporting my SoH regularly as well as others. Your data would be very valuable given how long you have had it.

Yes, the OBD SOH is quite helpful in looking at trends and I think is a good indicator, but it is not a precise measurement. As I said in an earlier post, the Porsche Battery Technician used the '2-day' Porsche approved measurement SOH and told me it was 92.26%, whereas my OBD indicated SOH was 91.06 over multiple measurements and days. I'm wondering if anyone else has had an actual Porsche SOH measurement vs OBD.

Know of 5 to date including mine which was identical to the flash OBDII readout - others were all +/- 1.5% of prior OBDII readings and as has been mentioned ad nauseum in the Baseline SoH thread, we are fully aware that any individual OBDII reading will be +/- 1.5% of prior or any other reading. All data points on the chart have an error bar with this range. The broader SoH trends are the purpose of that thread and those trends linked to climate zones are entirely consistent in respect SoH degradation states.
