Discounted Porsche Charging at UK Porsche centres

Just finished a call with Porsche support with the usual my charging app issues and they informed me that they just got news today that from the 15th to the 31st July they will be offering all Porsche superchargers at the same discounted IONITY rate. Official announcements are about to be sent out.

If that is all the news that Porsche has to send out as a press release, they must be desperate! Does not node well for the state of affairs at Porsche if two weeks sale is all the news they can drum up!

Do you need the Porsche card for the dealer or can you use the app only ? My dealer indicated otherwise.
