Why do they insist on using only the Weissach package car?
The take up on this one is less then 10% as it just doesn't make any sense, neither as a track car nor a daily driver.
A 4 door without back seat and still weighing more then a Ford 150???
My "regular" Turbo GT is already on a boat and according to my dealer no one wanted the Weissach.
I would really love to see real time results for the car without the boy racer, "ricer" wing and with proper back seat to see how it really compares to Sapphire or Plaid.

The Sapphire is a different level. It's closer to 1500hp with the 1234hp being a play on the Spaceballs movie
On a roll 60-130 is at least a full second faster than a Plaid

Placed the order in early April, in June the individual specs were locked, July 29th my car arrived to port in Germany(Groninberg).
It’s on a boat now.
Heard unconfirmed rumor that Turbo GT is limited by time, not a particular number,
with production being only as 2025 model.

I had one of the earliest orders for the Sapphire.
Car arrived in December and after waiting 2 years and being super excited about it…
I canceled it.
Was supposed to be my daily driver but:
1: They threatened voiding my warranty if I install my Escort detector (hard wire only possible as there are no outlets)
2: Refused to sell me a set of rims so I could put Winter tires(an absolute must in Chicago),
instead suggested throwing out those super expensive custom stock tires(their tech confirmed I couldn’t put them back because of very tight and fragile seal).
3: Confirmed a general lack or shortage of any parts like bumpers, quarter panels, lights, etc
Admitted it could take months to fix a fender bender.
Refusing the car was my only sensible option.
