Has anyone encountered any issues since New Year’s Eve? Could it be as straightforward as new charging supplier contracts that resolved a backend problem?

Navigation failed 3 times for me this evening between Rijswijk and delft. That’s a less than 10km drive.

Crashed a couple of times on my way back from France on 2-Jan even though I had switched off the Porsche Charge Planner. Given that I knew beforehand it would be somewhat flakey, I was doing hop-by-hop manual charge station navigation preplanned in ABRP with a few previously used Ionity chargers set as favourite in case I needed extra charging due to weather. I needed two extra stops…

Sorry it's off-topic....

Shame Porsche won't just give us a 'start-battery-preheat-now' button - and leave us to worry about when to use it and which chargers we select as targets... It would be so much easier.

Indeed. I made this exact request to my dealer, and explicitly asked to feedback this to Porsche, with proof, i.e. ticket number or something.

My car should is due for a service to install the famous TI 65/23 along with PCM 3885. I'll definitely won't budge on the matter and keep nagging them.

Is there anyway that this forum could arrange a class-action style request to Porsche? Perhaps if a few dozen owners jointly pursue this it might gain traction?

even a virtual button - or possibility to assign the user-configurable button as an option (on long trips)

I'd sign it

wishful thinking I guess

cheers

The german forum has over 600 people reporting the issue.

And yet, to every one of them, dealers/services/porschemobility told them: "huh, weird, never heard this before, you're the only one and definitely the first one to have this issue".

And most people on this forum got the same answer.

Do you really think they give a fk, when they refuse to even acknowledge the issue?

They keep recommended people to update to pcm 3885 to fix the issue... even to people that already have pcm 3885 😂

My concept was not solving the known nav issue - it was a suggested additional functionality - related to charge planner .. But many apologies - I did not know that - hope you are not too upset by my post

It kind-of exists. You get this when you dial in Sports (or certainly Sports Plus) mode.
Thank Mr O - I must give this a proper try - I tried it a while back and did not see much temperature increase - . but will deffo try it again, maybe I need to give it longer to react...

Every Postmaster in the UK is familiar with this line (from Fujitsu). ITV dramatized the whole thing in Mr Bates v the Post Office.
