I was thinking that the Photoshopped one was overly saturated for an overcast sky, but the real one isn't much less intense than that. Obviously there's a lot of variability from different cameras and screens, but even factoring that out, FB seems to me (who has yet to take delivery) to display a wide range of saturation from most intense in full sun to almost white under harsh artificial light.
I don't recall any real photo that has the almost silvery metallic emphasis that the Configurator renders. The 2 vehicles I've seen for real, and the small paint sample blocks certainly have no hint of silveriness.

The FBM paint, both on my Turbo and on the sample at the dealer, contains an extremely fine grain of tiny but unmistakable silver metal flecks. If you get within a foot or less of the well-lighted surface, and your near vision is well-focused (if not, use a magnifying lens), you will be able to clearly distinguish this silver metal stippling.

Then, viewing the paint at a greater distance, one can appreciate how this contributes to the overall appearance.

?️‍♂?Don't get me wrong- I love the real colour, my point is that I'm glad it doesn't seem anything like as silvery metallic as rendered by the configurator.

I get the same impression about the configurator's representation of FBM. It's interesting for me to see how they changed it since I configured mine about a year ago. Back then, the configurator made it look much darker than the actual color, with a sort of smoky cast. I haven't looked at the configurator much since I took delivery. But I now see that they've lightened it , with maybe a bit of overcorrection. The true appearance includes slightly more intense turquoise cast, and somewhat less of the gray-white contrasts displayed in the configurator. It's closer to true than it used to be, though.

I never tire of seeing my FBM car. The color has what I call an "opalescent sheen" that changes the appearance quite a bit depending on the lighting and the color of the surrounding area. If ordering another Taycan today, I definitely would choose it again.
