Hi all

I collected my Taycan GTS this morning from Porsche Chester (who have provided brilliant support throughout).

Some of you will know my collection was delayed due to the heating issues. But finally the beautiful car is here.

I normally love the HUD. However I wish I hadn’t specced it on Taycan. Too many screens / digital information makes the HUD redundant.

hey. All the Taycan’s are great so you will enjoy it.

I spent time debating 4S v GTS and went for GTS as the price difference was £7k. I’d added so much spec to the 4S!

I’m told GTS cars are more in demand (there are fewer of them built compared to 4S and Standard).

if I could go back I wouldn’t have HUD, Massage seats, rear climate control etc.

I can see attraction of massage seats but I ticked it thinking it would be great (which it is) but I’ve used them once so far!

Hi Jabbar, in the meantime I got my car delivered. I’ve tested the HUD. I agree too many information on the HUD makes no sense to me. Therefore I’ve only displayed the speed & traffic signs in the HUD configuration and by keeping it more simple, I enjoy it a lot more. Also it helps me keeping an eye on my speed and not losing my licence after only one week of ownership

HUDs are super useful, but I totally agree about the Taycans HUD. Too many screens, and with a clear, bright dial cluster display, it really isn't needed. My biggest gripe with it is the design, it looks like an afterthought in an otherwise sleek cabin.
