FOD 15% discount

By using code SPRING15, there is a 15% discount for lifetime FOD's until 10th of April. Since I was planning on buying ALK anyway, but holding out for a discount, I went ahead and bought it (before Porsche increases prices on this too).

Not sure of the region where this is applicable, but I'm in the EU (Netherlands).

funny, literally just did the same. Also Active Lane Assist, very useful I find. Used this FOC as a trial. Dropped the Innodrive though, not my cup of tea....car slows down all the time while I want the opposite when I see a corner coming .
ALK for 700e is a good deal.

And ALK is better when having a half full (or half empty for some) soft plastic bottle aound....put it thru your steering wheel and the annoying 20sec warning "hands on your steering wheel please" will not pop up again. Drove long distances on a highway without touching the steering wheel much. Very relaxing and worth the 700e.
Just keep your hands close to the wheel just in case....but it is a good option when driving on a highway...and longer distances.

Thanks for this - just ordered the trial of ALK today to try out for the free trial. I guess if I decide I like it in the next few days may as well just buy it

I thought you had to wiggle the wheel to remove the warning.
The bottle trick suggests that simple pressure on the inside of the wheel fools the car into thinking you are actively steering.

Sure will take one today.
It is the water moving inside the bottle that triggers the wheel to correct slightly all the time....as if you are holding on to the steering wheel.

Hence you need to fill a 1.5l bottle just 25-50% to allow the water to flow while having enough weight overall.

Disclaimer: don't try this at home. I am answering for a friend

I started ALK en PID as a 3 month test last year. Both are functional but the app says service to be activated for both. Guess I have a 100% discount. A friend of mine has the same. Same for mobile data. I tried it once and paid one month and deactivated the service but I still get 7 Gb each month.

My Innodrive was deinstalled one day after the 3 months, pop up, yellow update ring, poof.... gone...
Just forced, nothing I could do to stop it.

Is ALK FOD available for all models? I have a 22 RWD and would be interested in trying ALK but I don't see it as available as a FOD option. I occasionally use LKA but have to be conscious to turned it off when I encounter a construction area (which is not rare in California) where the lines are either not clear or have been redrawn. The aforementioned situation seems to confused the LKA in a sometimes not so safe manner.

I wanted to show how to do it, but I agree using a smaller bottle makes sense....just ensure it fits and has some water content.

Same here for ALK and Innodrive. Within no time it was gone....
