Received my car a week ago and noticed within a day that the right and left part of the center console don't align.

Am I to picky, or should I mention it to my dealer?

That would annoy me to no end. I would kindly ask if there’s something they can do.

It will bother you forever so get your dealer to adjust it.

Definitely have your dealer address the gap. How does something that obvious get by quality control at the factory? Almost makes me think something is loose and perhaps shifted during transport.

Wow, definitely get it sorted. It has obviously annoyed you enough to post it here.
So if you don't get it attended to then it will really annoy you forever.

OK, I guess it's unanimous ;) . Car goes in tomorrow because they forgot/were too late with my painted front bumper air vents.

I'll ask them to look at it.

More importantly, how did it get through delivery prep?

I have the same problem… everyone that’s saying get it fixed, are you not afraid they’ll screw something else up trying to fix it? Eg i have zero rattles now, if fixing this caused rattles I would regret doing it

I'm also concerned about working on a (almost) perfectly good car with everything factory installed.

The dealer phoned me and said they needed to reschedule because it would take a long time to fix it. A big part of the dash needs to be dismantled.

Negative. I complain about everything until it's resolved. A good service tech will actually love your attention to detail.

As for rattles, they are generally an easy fix. A little felt, a little velcro, boom. Job done.

Definitely fix that unsightly gap. This is not a Pinto or a Tesla.

By the mirror image from the center screen, you look very disappointed  Fully understandable, and I would been too. It´s not picky at all to care about attention to details. I would definitely have that fixed ?

I always confront my problems with my service center in a calm and polite way, and am each time greeted with a response from Porsche Son with their eagerness to meet my demands and to please me.

I tend to say that the key to a solution lies in good communication, so It's all about how you address it. Tell them you really like your new Taycan, but this drags you down, and it means a lot to have everything in its well-known Porsche standard.

Talking about attention to detail ;) .

My car was at the dealer this week to install a few painted parts in the front bumper. Offcourse I mentioned my problem and they fully understood and it's going to be solved.

The notorious door rattles are no exception here, so those are going to be fixed also.
