More importantly, how did it get through delivery prep?Definitely have your dealer address the gap. How does something that obvious get by quality control at the factory? Almost makes me think something is loose and perhaps shifted during transport.

Eg i have zero rattles now, if fixing this caused rattles I would regret doing it
Negative. I complain about everything until it's resolved.
