So I finally got the call that after 12 months my allocation for a GTS ST has arrived. I've been driving around a nicely specced CT4 for the last 2 months so it's been great to really know what I want and don't want.

One of the things I definitely want is some sort of contrast stitch. However what I don't want is the red or chalk. I'm dead set on orange stitch (my company colors are orange, dark grey and white), and I am having a really hard time finding some examples of the GTS racetex/leather interior with a contrast stitch option.

The reason it doesn't seem obvious that it just replaces whatever the contrast stitch option is on the GTS Red/Chalk package is that the configurator shows an interesting example, but doesn't list any detail. If you select the base black racetex/leather, then the GTS constrast stitch package:

What I find odd is that the things like the dashboard top stitch are still black? But on the GTS Red/Chalk package, there is no stitching on the center console, but there is on the dashboard......

I am also hoping that I can get the matte carbon steering wheel with the orange deviated stitching but not holding my breath...

Anyways.... does anyone have a real-world example of the black racetex/leather GTS interior package, with the deviated stitch option in any color so I can see what actually gets stitched and what doesn't?

Your dealer should be able to confirm but contrasting stitching contains:

Determine also if Club Leather or full leather as there is a difference in stitching.

I am no expert but it looked to me when I considered a GTS that you had to give up the racetex and leather GTS interior and go for one of the full leather if you wanted deviated stitching in colours other than the red and chalk offered for the GTS. With leather there is a wide choice.

You can't have deviated with anything other than leather or club leather interiors.

That is for the full leather deviated stitch package. Notice on the screenshot I posted there is a GTS specific one.

Then why would there be a specific option for “gts deviated stitch “ like I showed in the screenshot? And the entire post was about how the configuratior shows some GTS specific variations that are a bit different than the standard one that is available for leather.

Looking at the UK configurator, I think the OP is right- the standard black GTS racetex interior can be spec'd with any contrast stitching colour, and is £1000 less than the red or crayon GTS interior options-

With decorative stitching in contrasting colour: dashboard upper section, upper section of door trims front and rear, door armrests front and rear, steering wheel, seats front and rear, 'GTS’ logo embroidered on headrests front and outer rear.

Free choice of colour from all available standard and special colours.

Only in conjunction with GTS Race-Tex interior package (standard for Taycan GTS)

One will argue that the GTS red/chalk package is a better value, get all the carbon bits and the red belts and floormats, but I honestly don't care much, not a huge fan of the red, and could do without the belts. Just want that sweet sweet orange stitch. :p

Interesting that the UK config shows more details of the stitch locations. This is what's shown on the USA config:

Porsche Taycan GTS Deviated Stitch Question 1668694639189

Essentially no details about the stitch locations, in really odd spots (lower dashboard on the racetex?), and not showing the headrest GTS logos getting the stitch. So will need to confirm for sure with my SA.

I'd normally recommend scouring the Used Approved listings in as many countries as possible to get photos of real examples, but in this instance I suspect that few if any customers or demo vehicles will have taken the deviated standard GTS interior option.
SAs sometimes get the finer points of trim wrong, e.g. incorrectly assuming that the Taycan 2-tone leather option are like the Panamera ones in having contrasting stitching.

I’m following this with interest - I’m likely to go for the deviated stitch with Racetex on my GTS, just not in Orange!

I'm in France. If I select the stitching option it cancels the Race Tex and switches to all leather. The only contrasting sticihing option for me on Race Tex is the Crayon and Carmine packs

Apologies - misread, please ignore my post and apologies for the confusion.

Yep, its such a niche little option that I am having a real hard time finding any real-world examples.

Almost every dealer spec or deviated stitch spec car I've come across is full leather, or just the plain GTS red/chalk.

Probably at this point can just assume that it has all the same deviated stitch as the GTS red/chalk, just without the extras such as the GTS badge on the steering wheel, floor mats, or seatbelts. This is what is specced on the details of the GTS red/chalk, with the highlight being what's specced on the GTS deviated stitch package.

Porsche Taycan GTS Deviated Stitch Question 1668700543875

I think the GTS stitch seats will look bitchin with the racetex centers, black leather outsides, bright orange (or whatever other color one picks) GTS logo and stitch. Only comparable I can sort of find is what's on the 992, though the seats in the Taycan look way cooler.

Thanks for confirming that the option exists- but I can't see any stitching on the production pic?
