HELP - 22 Hour Ferry Trip

Hi All,

This is my first post and is a cry for help.

my wife and I are just about to drive down too southern spain in a GTS and we start the trip with a 22 hour ferry journey from Plymouth to Santander.

How do I :
1 - disable the alarm,
2 - do I need to inform the tracker service that i am out of the country.

Any advice gratefully received !! ??

I also did a ferry trip last summer and I only made sure to lock the car and disable alarm (double tap on lock button on the key).
Porsche services will resume when you’ll get at your destination and the car connects to the internet.

I suggest you buy priority for the car on the ferry if possible as they are usually trying to rush you in tight parking spots. It was a miracle I didnt damage mine on the livorno - sardinia trip.

Many Thanks - Porsche UK have since advised me that Vodafone who manage the tracking service can disable both the tracker and alarm on boarding and disembarking the ferry..

Be careful with that. I think it is the post mentioned above. One of your fellow countrymen did this and his car was blocked to long and he couldn’t activate it to get off the ferry. If the double click on the remote disables PVT it may be an easier solution.
