So.

I get in my Taycan (love my Taycan). And I turn it on.

The big center screen comes on. I now have two choices:

1.. Log in as me, which means that I need to click (from memory)
- Switch User
- Choose "Robert"
- Type in my PIN
- Tap Enter
- Sometimes repeat for no entirely obvious reason

2. Login as Guest, which means:
- Choose guest
- Choose Porsche connected services yes please
- Choose Next to confirm that I now have Porsche connected services

Is there any way to reduce the number of button presses to - you know - about none? Can I have me as an auto-login?

Thanks,
Robert

Yes, if you choose the setting that does not require the PIN to access your profile and use the linked key, you should be able to skip it all. When I first got my car, I used the PIN for my profile. It became a pain to type in the four digits every time, so I disabled it.

Just got my car and am having the same issue. It takes waaay too long to login. I didn’t time it, but it seems like it’s 5 to 10 seconds for it to verify my PIN. Maybe longer. And I also sometimes have to login twice. Does anyone happily enter this password every time they get in the car? It’s a car, not a computer. I would rather not have to login. Where is the setting where you disable this?

If you select your profile when it appears on the screen you should be able to choose to disable the PIN.
