Ice grey or Dolomite?

Hey guys!

I'm in the process of finalizing the setup of a Turbo, and it's incredibly difficult to choose between ICE GREY and GREY DOLOMITE. I haven't seen Dolomite with my own eyes, but I'm afraid it might be very close to Tesla's Grey Quicksilver, which looks very cheap.* (see below)

I wanted a color close to white with a red leather interior, but I can't picture what would look best together. Have you ever seen such a configuration on a Taycan version from 2020-2024?

Any ideas?

Here is the Ice Grey version (close to white).

And here is the Dolomite Grey version.

I'm afraid that the colors on the configurator are not at all representative.

Additional question: I feel like the RED LED strip displays the PORSCHE logo in BLACK when it's off, making it almost invisible during the day. Am I wrong?

PS: My Porsche center is 300km away from me, so I can't go there right now :/

It looks nothing like the Tesla color. It is a "cool" silver with a slight blue in certain light. I found ice grey to lean towards a shade of white in certain lighting. Love my Dolomite

I saw both at my dealer whilst researching colours for mine.
To me Dolomite looks silver and Ice Grey looks white

It's close to BMWs Silverstone if that helps. Silver with a blue hue.

I have a carrara white metallic Taycan, but anytime I see a silver dolomite, I stop and admire it. Probably my favorite color for the Taycan. Ice grey is unique, but the silver just fits the car perfectly.

i think silver has had its time. That time was about 10 years ago. They are everywhere now. Bright flat colors are in. YMMV.

Colours are a very personal preference, and they don't always look representative in photos/web posts.

Find a local dealer that has one of each, even if two dealers, and decide. You're spending too much money to rely on Internet opinion.

FWIW Dolomite is nothing like that Tesla. It's plain silver (for better and for worse).

Ice grey is near white grey with a metallic sheen that brings blues out.

They're both nice in their own way.

Go see them.

If you want a colour close to white, it is ice gray. Dolomite is silver and has no white in it.

I'm all for color in other cars - I'd strongly prefer it in my own - but I just think personally the Taycan's lines do best in white/silver. I can't help it, as I really would prefer it otherwise.

It's impossible to find a Taycan who can match an Ice Grey or Dolomite Taycan with a red leather interior.

From my opinion, Ice grey & Dolomite fit well with black & silver accent, without turbonite, for a Taycan.
But it's difficult to take a decision on the final color.

It was the exterior colour I was referring to. That's your first hurdle.

(I'm not a fan of Porsche red interiors personally. I suspect it would go with both equally. The exterior colour is far harder to gauge and what you were wanting compared with the Tesla).

I like a red leather interior usually but the Taycan version is really just a black interior with red seat facings and a few other bits of red. Nothing like the red in most of their other cars or other makes.
I was disappointed.

I went for Dolomite Silver on my 4S CT and love it. I was torn between Silver and Ice Grey but I'm pleased that went with Dolomite Silver.
