Ionity - no charging record

Used Ionity for the first time yesterday. Plugged in and as was trying to figure out it started charging via plug to charge so that was good. 47.72kwh and cost £14.32

went to same location on way back today. Same bay. Had about 35% battery. Plugged in and didn’t change on Ionity screen immediately. However it did start charging. Kept an eye on app and went back to car at about 78%. Few people hanging round as apparently 3 chargers weren’t working so I charged to 80% and went to stop charging but just showed as ‘press start to charge’ on Ionity screen. Bit confused as was definitely charging so I stopped it on the car port. Showed stopped but nothing else.

Didn’t get a charging completed notification on the Porsche app (did yesterday) and no transaction is showing in history - again got this virtually immediately yesterday. This was about 3hrs ago. Any ideas? Is it just a delay?

When I first got my Taycan and first used Ionity, I got a couple of free charges.

Usually the transaction comes up in a few hours (maybe sooner or immediately) in the My Porsche app, with the bill coming up on a monthly cycle.

Still nothing showing. I've got 2 transactions in my Porsche charging history but haven't had an invoice yet (charge sessions over the past 10 days). Will have to keep an eye out on this - a freebie would be nice mind!

I nipped into IONITY at Gretna Green services once on the way back home and never got charged any money

Do the transactions show the cost of each charge? If so you will get an invoice around 2nd or 3rd of March. If not they me be free. I have had a couple that have never been invoiced.

Those two do yes. One test at Porsche Sheffield, and first one at Ionity on Saturday. But nothing showing at all for the Sunday charge. Thanks for note re invoicing date.

Might have got lucky then!

I went to test the charging of the Porsche charging service as it had failed to accept the card when trying to use at 3 previous locations. I knew I needed to use it on my next long journey. It worked via plug and charge as did Ionity.

Well still nothing nearly a week later. Looks like I may have had a freebie!
