Is my SOH normal?

I have a 2021 Taycan Turbo and live in a small city. I primarily use the car for daily driving and always charge it with a 22kW wall charger, as I have one at the office and one at home. The only times I've used other chargers were during rare long-distance trips.

Three weeks ago, while charging, I experienced the well-known charger failure, and the car wouldn't move. I had it towed to the service center, and they diagnosed a failed 22kW internal charger.

Three weeks later, they called to say it was fixed. When I picked up the car, they informed me that my battery's State of Health (SOH) is 83%, which I find extremely low. I almost always charge with my wall chargers and keep the battery between 20% and 80%. The only times I've charged to 100% were for trips, which has only happened about 10-20 times.

They mentioned the 83% SOH has a +/- 5% margin of error, meaning the actual SOH could be anywhere between 78% and 88%. I remember getting 380-400 km of range on a full charge last summer, but now it's only showing 330-340 km. Good thing is i shot a picture right after that incident and it shows 116km range with %38 charge. So that seems to be on par with that SOH.

Could the charger failure have caused a battery issue? Or is this SOH normal for a 2021 model? The dealer claims it's within the normal range but also said they typically see 87-88% for 2021 models and have never seen one in the 90s.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

You can also check it with CT14's software to see the voltage of each module and if any module is about to die

No, 83% is not normal.

BTW: the healthiest batteries, according to some research I can't quote right now, are those, that encounter multiple different usage profiles:
sometimes stressing power input and output, going timid, HPC and also AC charging.

I live in Southern Turkey where its extremely hot in Summer (Like right now its about %80 humidity with over 33-34 Celcius) I keep the car always in shade but it is what it is.
Also the odometer is at 25.000kms.

I have a 2020 4S performance battery plus and a Soh of 83%.
After rebalance it jumped up 3%.
Soh 86% after 5 years is imho acceptabele. First yr -5% and after that -2.3%/yr decrease.

You are well within Porsche tolerance. I’d pay more attention to other metrics like how much range dropped (if at all). Also, use the free tools on this site to really understand battery health metrics and how your battery stacks up.

Thanks for everyone responding. Past two weeks I did the battery drain and charge technique, I don't know if it's that or not but when I ran the battery check software you guys mentioned. All my cells looked green. Now I have about 370 to 380km range on full charge.
