So I went to stuttgart yesterday.
I was in the factory (had to give my iPhone, so no pictures).
The belt (ev carts) was stopped 5 times, for the 2 hours that I witnessed, the cars nearly moved and everybody was just chilling around. They even call out the trucks on the road that they have to slow down to prevent too many trucks on the lot. They use live stockage.
I asked about the 12v battery, but he denied that (although think he had no idea what I was asking).
Besides that, the paint jobs, windows placements etc looks very good done. They do good stuff but when I was there.. I could easily see why the cars are so much delayed.
They use the same paint robots for the 911.
The only Taycan in the museum was at top and not accessible. Also in the shop.. they only have 2 scale models (pink and frozen blue), nothing more. I found that frustrating and disturbing. Driven 8 hours and back.
