Ah. That's standard in the US.
Technically, it's a "Required Option" for MY2020, just like the glass roof. If it was truly standard they wouldn't be charging us extra for them!

I have just been informed that my car is sitting on the lot. I have not been informed when to pick it up.

Mine too! Arrived yesterday. Now waiting for the certificate of origin, so I can get it registered. In the meantime, I’m having it PPF’d and ceramic coating.

Just picked up my Taycan yesterday. Drove 100+ miles home with 26.1 kw/100 miles and I'm very satisfied with that. Charged up last night to 85% and it shows 207 miles (243 for 100%). That was nearly all highway driving at 65. Came back from Sassafras Springs Vineyard & Winery area at dinner time and pulled out onto the 55 mile per hour two lane highway in Normal and at 20 MPH gave it some good accelerator and it shifted down to first to further accelerate. That surprised me as I thought it would have to be in sport for that.

Pictures attached.

I have just been notified by my dealer that in spite of my car getting to Houston last night it is going to take until September 11th to get it to Arkansas. He does not know the reason why. Has anyone else heard this about their car and did you get a better explanation?

Chuck J
Hey Chuck.

I am having some clients with this same issue right now due to the impending arrival of Hurricane Laura.

Sometimes it is Port Authority in Houston that creates the delays in processing - not Porsche.

Glad you took delivery of your Taycan before the storm hit! Enjoy it.
