Loose leather at base of seat

May i ask which heat gun you are using?

I bought a cheap version locally for about 25 EUR. Mine is 2000 W and has a temperature range of 50-600 degrees. I ran at around 300-400 degrees.

I've booked mine in to check the exact same issue - not really acceptable. I think my passenger seat has been used less than 10 times. CT4 4 months old. Mine aren't ventilated seats

Any news about this issue?

Good luck with this. I had the same problem with my Corvette the first week, and GM denied a warranty issue. I can see their thinking, which is that once it leaves the dealership, they don’t know what you’ve done to it, so why should they warranty it? You could be sticking your knee in there (and you weight a lot) and stretching it or kids could be jumping up and down on it like a trampoline while parked in the garage. Stuff like that.

My prediction is that you won’t get a warranty claim, though it would be nice if you did.
