Mamba green and resale

Keith - Mamba is a special color! I keep telling my wife that Porsches painted in “Skittles” candy colors looks the best. Here’s some in the flesh shots of my Mamba Green Machine to help you decide

It is one of the best looking colors for dirty cars. Many colors look great when clean, but dead when dirty. This color looks spectacular out in day to day use even when really dirty.

have a turbo coming march in mamba , but still thinking pts, pending of its put back date wise it’s a great colour and definat one of the better colours , but still would have gulf orange or speed yellow over it , but for me it’s about getting it at the start of the plate and not having a car coming for the page to be changed 3 weeks later ie august top one is my order bottom 2 are the colours I’d go for it march is pushed back to June etc build etc

Love that orange! I would definitely go for that.

I love the thought of skittles-colored Porsches, of any/every vintage. I would not buy one myself - it's just a personality trait, and nothing wrong either way. As the others have said, if you want it - go for it, and don't live with the everyday thought of "wanted a Mamba but bought a white one for Bob to give me $100(0) more". It could be that Bob is willing to pay more for a Mamba..

Having said that, in the sea of Porsches I see on a daily basis around here, there are very few wearing bright colors, and they do STAND OUT. (This is where that trait comes in - do you like it or loathe it..)

I would be willing to pay more for green. Best, Bob

Okay you’ve just sold it to me, I am pretty bad at keeping cars clean after the honeymoon period.

Thanks, I did. The carbon blades are summer and the CTs are my winters.

Great color IMO. If we all just focus on resale, then everyone would own white, some shade of gray (dat chalk doh), or silver. Better to get the color you love than to stress about resale. Especially for Porsche, there's a market for bolder colors.
