Different in UK in my experience. Over the last 20 years my dealer has never had spare stock. Showroom cars couldn't be sold unless there was something to replace it.

To see 50+ new Taycans available in UK is by no means normal. Potentially cancelled orders I guess.
Ah, that helps explain the different perspective. Obviously the business models of our two countries with respect to Porsche are decidedly different.

I don't think there are any significant changes for the MY24 model. There are quite a few brand new taycans in dealerships at MY23 prices. Some of which are up to £10k less than MY24 list. I'd have a look there before committing to a build. You'll get the car now and save £££.
Maybe I am looking in the wrong place, but when I search on porsche website, a new MY23 RWD is coming in at £87k, which is £5k more than the brand new MY 24 I am looking at. To be fair it has more options but it would still appear better to get brand new MY24
