It's fun how many opinions there are on this. I'm 34 and have been working with electronics and software development for my entire career. But in my car I really don't use the software much. I use the navigation once in a while and yes it's a bit of hassle to enter a long journey with specific charging spots. Luckily I haven't seen it crash since the PCM update so I've not been plagued by issues in general.
I do hope Porsche pushes a few updates to the old gen but I don't really believe they will.
