Hi.......after plugging in your phone to use CarPlay, where is the best location to then ,eave your phone?
Armrest compartment, storage under center console, somewhere else?

I put it in the holder for longer trips and in a cupholder (with my microfiber towel to prevent it from bouncing around).

if i dont put it in the armrest my ATT signal strength is terrible with the sound isolated glass. For short drives to the store its a little irritating but for longer drives its fine.

I recommend getting this type of cable if you intend to put the phone in the cupholder. The L-shaped adapter makes it easier to rest in place straight.

Under my but between my legs as i was used to. Sometims it fallssfrom the car when i get out

I totally agree, especially if you have one of the larger (longer) iPhones. I have a similar one purchased elsewhere that cost about $17. This one is really expensive!

Get a brodit proclip. And a Self adhesive magnet to just put the phone against.
Problem solved.
I have one and it’s perfect. Also had on Panameras before.

I've tried keeping it in the console (pain to open), and running a usb-c to lightning connector to the under console storage area (harder to reach, phone slides around, and better place for sunglasses). My solution is pretty simple, and I love it. Phone is easy to access, doesn't slide around at all, and hidden and supported quite well. I just slide it between the seat and console using a .5M USB-C to lightning braided cable.

The adapter from ProClipUSA.com is great. I put it on the passenger side and I use it with the Scosche MagicMount Pro XL. Works great and the charger plug sticks to the magnet when it's not in use which makes it easy to find.

Bought a $5.00 sticky mat on amazon. Put it on open space under console. So far, so good
