Go to TKDetailing. Tom is an absolute professional. Can anyone recommend any detailers in the Hampshire/ Berkshire area?
Looking to get GTechniq Ceramic coatings professionally applied on my upcoming 4S.
So, something like...
Stage 1 polish - prep [I don't think a Stage 2 should be needed]
Paint protected (CS Ultra or CS Light, topped with EXO4 or something)
All Glass cleaned and sealed (G1 or something)
Alloy Wheels removed, cleaned and then sealed (with C5 or similar)
All Exterior trim (C4 or similar)
All Interior plastics (C4)
Interior Leather Cleaned and sealed
I think the above used to be the standard Gtechniq new car detail... but it has been a few years sine I got my other car done, so maybe things have moved on.
1) Any recommendations of detailers?
2) Approximate costs?
3) Anything I have missed from the detail?
Thanks..
I’ve had paint correction and ceramic coating on cars this age before and it’s 100% worth doing IMOWhat’s the house view on doing ceramic coating on a used Taycan (about a year old)? Looking at one at the moment and wondering whether I should try to negotiate something extra while the dealer preps the car.
You'll actually get more for your money on an older car, because the difference that the paint correction will make will be more noticeable. What’s the house view on doing ceramic coating on a used Taycan (about a year old)?
