Sorry for a newbie question, I just bought a used. 2023 Taycan with standard battery. Should I not charge above 90% at Electrify America? What about at home? I leave it plugged in overnight at home.

I wouldn't charge over 90% at EA because it gets so slow at that point. You should not charge to 100% and leave it there for many hours or days. I charge to 100% at home when I am leaving on a long trip that day. Normally, I charge to 85% when at home. There are many threads on this forum that cover this subject extensively.

SoH can be read with a PIWIS or with OBD with the Electric Sidecar app (written by a forum member)

2022 4S cross turismo 33000miles DC charge once a month. 260 miles range 100% when new, 295 miles just this week (25 Celsius summer both numbers with aircon turned off, aircon turned on 280 miles). I’m impressed the range has actually improved significantly over the 3 years 33000 miles ownership.
driving habit is a key factor.. When I do cruise 80mph all day my range is like 250 miles. Last week I drove a bit more aggressive and this week it shows only 200 miles range...

Update here. 1 year later with my 2023. I charge it past 90% every time. Now it tells me I got 290 miles after a full charge. keep in mind, I'm a conservative driver.

I have 2021 TTS.
I have ALL the features that reduces the range (but increases "fun").
On Sticker (during purchase) it shows range of 201 miles.
On Day 1 (approx as I do not remember the exact day), the range was approx 230 miles which was increased after one of the SW upgrades.

Today, after 3+ years, If I drive in sports plus mode (which I occasionally do), it shows about 210-220 miles. If I driver in range mode (which I rarely do), it shows a range of 265-273 miles.

Some facts (with bad habits) below:
-- 2021 TTS
-- I charge to 100% very frequently
-- I go down to ~10% very frequently (just lazy to charge)
-- I have 42430 miles on my car (was at 3 years mark in April 2024)
-- I do (even after 3 years) launch controls a few times every month (at least) <-- bad for tires

I do not know my SOH but overall I am happy getting more range than what I expected on sticker.

Wow - this is impressive. I have a Cross Turismo 4S, 3 years old, 29000 miles. Max 100% charge shows 204 miles FULLY CHARGED. As soon as I unplug it goes down to circa 195 miles and after 2 minutes driving shows about 185 miles. The car is simply too much of an inconvenience and does not return anything near what it is supposed to. Will not be looking at another when I change it which I cannot afford to do currently as the resale value has dropped so much and this is another reason why I will not buy another.
Sounds to me like you have bad cell(s). Get an OBDII reader and check the cell map and state of health, while you still have warranty coverage ensuring at least 80% battery capacity. (In North America, 80% capacity is ensured by warranty until you reach 3 years/37,750 miles.)

Totally agree… When I drive really smooth consumption is between 21-25 kw/h even in sport plus mode..If I drive aggressively, consumption between 32-38 kw/h…Range is between 360-440 km depending on my driving…. Usually 100 percent shows 410 km which is kind of average…

We have a 2021 4S with 31,000 miles. Routinely charge to 80% at home. Use EA fast chargers to 100% on trips. Also use range mode on long trips. Use all season tires on 19 inch wheels. Range has consistently been 300 - 320 during the summer, and drops to 280 in the winter (10 - 30 F). I have not noticed in change in range over 3 years.

Have you taken this up with your dealer?

I've no idea how you guys are hitting these numbers. In my turbo s, the best I've seen in Seattle area is 245mi range in the summer

Mine is 2021 RWD. The 100% range was about 300miles (a bit over) 3 years ago.

I almost exclusively charged from the EA DC chargers, as there' multiple of them around my home.

I didn't care much about the 80% line, and casually charged over 90% (not over 95% tho).

It's been quite warm (or hot..), and my range is still about 300 miles as in this picture (60% 180miles). These days, I see 290~300 range.

Either it's from a better s/w, the range hasn't degraded much.

So, plz don't worry about the batter too much as you charge at DC.

I've just got a Taycan RWD 2021 with battery performance plus, I cannot get more than 320km (at 100% battery). Should I get concerned? I mean, I was kinda expecting a bit more of range (something around 380km at least). I know my wheels (21" ones) does not help, but surely it does not take that much range.

CT 4, 2022, 15000 Miles, 20" wheel, South Florida (30°C in average!)
Normal:
85% -> 220 miles consistent.
100% -> 260 miles give or take
100% to 10% -> 240miles constant at 75/80 M/h, 2/3 people in the car - go enough for my use case.

Very consistent since the beginning, mix driving City and highway (80 M/h)
Charge routinely at home 85% @19.1 Kw when I need to 100%, rarely DC
