That’s the norm. You can reduce speed and turn the heater down and use heated seats for some extra range. Do you have a heat pump?

Or even better, get an ICE car.
You want range? get a Prius, i love my prius. Or get a Lexus Hybrid. I have my eyes on a Rav4 to pair with a 911 when the time comes or a Volvo EX30 to pair with a 911.

That's consistent with my experience, too. I long distance travel in the summer months. Otherwise, 90% or more of my daily driving is well under 25 miles per day. So, not a big deal to me.

I'm not sure what you are actually asking?
Is this the norm -Yes. ......but is that what you are asking?
One thing you say is that last winter you were told range in 225 miles and this winter 212 miles. First response to this is that the range guessmeter is just that - and mine always under reports. Rather than believe the guessometer, why not record (remember) the actual range. If your real range is 250 miles, then for every 10% drop in SoC, you will do 25 miles. On a long trip, see how far you go for every drop of 10% in the SoC. That is your real range.
225 is not that differnt from 212. Its then all about what your driving style is.
But, are you asking about summer to winter differences? You say in the summer it was UP TO 290 miles. Yes, my turbo does that but typically it is 250 miles. In nice hot UK weather you can get up to 290 with careful use of the right foot. I think the Taycan is very good in it handling of summer to winter temps differences with 250 in summer being typical and 210 in the cold weather we had a week or so ago (still above freezing so warm by US standards). Its better than the Tesla I used to have which was 300 miles in summer and 200 in winter.
Far better to watch how your range is from miles driven per 10% of charge used and work out if you have a problem from that. You'll soon see that range is useless doing a 5 mile drive each day compared to a 300 mile run.

All UK cars have the heat pump as standard.

Assume you mean performance battery plus (extra range)?

Your summer range is impressive and winter range is on the money. Nothing wrong.

Don't forget that short journeys will eat range.

Rely more on your mileage per kw.

Rather walk than driving the Prius.
6 years ago I was looking for a plug in hybrid hatchback non SUV.
Final shortlist was Panamera ST Hybrid and Prius. Went with the Prius because of size, weight and technology. I still have it.
It is 600kg lighter and uses carbon fibre in the structure rather than the trim :)

Slower, of course and less grip but handles really well on all wishbone indepenant suspension.
I still go some places in my Prius rather than my Taycan.

Good you like it but you will not convince me.
I don’t understand the prejudice personally, but have seen the Clarkson bollox so am aware of its potential image.

As an engineer I appreciate the superiority of a CVT transmission and the simplicity, lightness and overall splendidness of the unique and patented Toyota system.
