Is anyone else that got dropped off in Benicia still showing “Port Processing”? My TYD shows port processing complete but according to TYD and my SA the car is not on a truck yet. With the snow and the Christmas break, that’s not surprising - but I’m getting impatient with the car so close, yet so far away…

Yes, my car is still at Benicia and is showing as Port Processing on TYD. The dealer is in Fremont and it is only 40 miles away. Hopefully, the car will arrive at the dealership this week.

I am in the same situation, my TYD is showing Port Processing complete 12-19 and En route to dealer and Arrival at dealer 1-7-2022. I though the delay in shipping the car was because I was planning on PECLA delivery originally.
I can understand that there would be no activity around Christmas but hopefully they will be putting the cars on trucks this week.

I can understand that there would be no activity around Christmas but hopefully they will be putting the cars on trucks this week.

I was also supposed to take delivery at PECLA too but all of the dates were in Feb 2022. Therefore, I had my SA switch to dealership when the car was being loaded onto the ship in Emden.

My car has been at Benicia since 12/19. My dealer is 8 miles from the port. Porsche TYD says my dealer won‘t receive the car until 1/7. So much for the vaunted speed of the Taycan!

Why are you even looking at TYD? Your Dealer will have accurate info. Ask them if it’s missing something. However it should not be sitting 8 days at the Port.

My dealer is some 50 miles from Benicia. Car was ready to be picked up on December 21. Honestly the whole thing caught me by surprise. Was expecting an end of January delivery.

TYD said Dec 24. After the car reached the port and had completed processing (12/19), TYD updated to 1/7. I contacted my SA and he said to ignore it and that he had received an exit notification. They received the car on 12/21 in the afternoon and had the PDI complete for me to pickup on 12/23 at 9am. TYD was cool at times but overall it caused me a lot more stress with the way the dates changed. At one stage, I was due to get my car on 1/14 after initially being told 12/3.

For reference, my dealer received our car from Benicia last Monday, and we picked it up on Thursday. The TYD was saying 1/7 up until the day my dealer received the car. My dealer is located in the Bay Area.

It seems that the lag period between completion of port processing and transport to the dealer may be due to limited trucking availability? I don’t believe any of us have been told that there are outstanding campaigns?

Mine arrived in San Diego on 12/16 and was lucky to get it today in Vegas.

Going to the PPF installer tomorrow to lay a sample of satin on the paint. I want to see if I like it or not. To expensive to mess up.

PDI takes a day to a day and a half but there may be other cars also requiring an inspection. My
SA claims he got mine bumped to the top.

Great to hear. My dealer also received my car today so I should have it by Thursday or Friday.
