I have recently been unable to remotely condition my vehicle. I have tried from both the MyPorsche and Porsche Connect apps.
The error I have received is as a follows.
Porsche Taycan Remote conditioning not working 570B2109-34EE-4140-B08C-1C03DE4192A8

The air conditioning does work form within the vehicle.
Thank you for any helpful thoughts, suggestions?

There is a recall for this - Wmp5. I had exact same issue. There are some defective air conditioning sensors that can fail and need to be replaced. If one of more fail, the remote heating/ac will not work (also will limit DC charging speeds bc battery can’t be cooled while charging). It’s a quick fix - my car was at the dealer for half a day.

thank you for the information. I remember having this recall competed last year, and no recall shows up for my VIN. Is this a newer WMP5 bulletin?

Is it a connection issue? I had that when my app wasn’t connecting properly. Is the app showing your mileage and charge state correctly? If not, that could be the problem

hello, all other app related services are working such as charging statuses, remote lock/unlock, etc. It was just the remote conditioning that errored out. thank you for the suggestion.

Do you have both the new my porsche app and the old porsche connect? The 2 don't play nice with eachother, try deleting the old connect app.

Hello, I’ve tried on another device as well as from the Porsche website. Same issue. I will schedule service as suggested. Reading more about the WMP5 bulletin does seem related to my issue.

Have you tried My Porsche web site rather than either of the apps?

Also try removing both apps from your phone, power off and then reinstall My Porsche.

Finally, does the preheat function work directly from the PCM (charging menu)?

Btw an easy way to confirm this is a sensor issue and not a connection issue is try to preheat and precool the car from directly in the car using the preheat button in the PCM. Does it work? If not, it’s the sensor or some other issue with the heating or cooling system. If it works in the car then it’s a connection issue with the Ap

Thank you all for the suggestions. I will opt to have the service folks take a look at it.
I did try to remove the apps and use only one at a time however the issue persists. Pressing the in car precool button does turn on the cooling; additionally that state is reported correctly on the app.

Update: I tried the my Porsche site and was able to initiate the precool successfully. I’m perplexed.
