Hey buddy did you ever discover why the GTS version has a louder and different sound?

Is the control module different for the GTS? Or other hardware?

or is it a software change?

Its Software change and can be modified with piwis as far i know. There is company in germany which modifies it but car must be brought there.

I’ve found many versions of the module, code ending D, E, F, G, H and J and all are found in every taycan model, is that leads me also to believe it’s a software version.

Hey guys i just got my 2021 taycan turbo today delivered and i cant find any setting inside my dashboard for the electric Sport Sound, so i checked my options list and it says: GM4 EXTERNAL SOUND (E-SOUND) W/O DEACT.

Has anyone had this before? I can clearly hear the Sound but i think it's lower volume than on an older taycan i had some Months before.

This one doesnt come with Sport Chrono, so i dont have a sports plus, only Sport.

Is this something that could be coded?

Thank you for any input on the matter. Porsche themselves unfortunately are Zero helpful with those Things

Unfortunately no news on this front after almost 2 years.

I wish there was a way to add some extra sound or different sound for launch control. From time to time I come across kids asking to "rev it" and I can't give them anything besides the meh sound of LC ?

Sport sound is packaged together with the sport chrono thing on j1 as far as I remember

We ran in some problems due to speaker fault detection in the module itself and waiting for revised pcp to be delivered for further testing.

Yup. I emailed them and unfortunately they don't recommend it without them installing it. They told me its too difficult. Whatever that means. So pass

Do you have the pin assignment? I can't figure out the circuit diagram. Is there any information about the CAN bus messages? The whole thing was run here on the desk for testing.
