Hi!

im in trouble with my Taycan Turbo S CT MY22 because I got a warning light two days ago that the right charge port is inpaired and now I removed the port with the emergency tool but it says ”charging not possible on either port.

My SoC is now at 1% and it sits on my driveway where I have Zaptec 11Kw and Porsche Mobile charger.

what should I do?

thank you

the same situation happened to me last week!
In my case even if I removed the emergency cover the car wouldn't recognize that the port is opened and it wouldn't start charging, its a sensor thing.
The emergency cover removal is kind of useless because of that.

I called porsche and my taycan got pulled to the next porsche dealer where they changed the sensors ( had to be ordered ).
good luck!

When I got the same message (manual port doors) there was nothing impeding the door.

It went to the dealers and they replaced the charging port unit.

The automatic ports can be opened manually using the tool BUT limits you to A.C. charging only until you visit the dealer to reset . I have had several “port impaired” messages on mine. If I lock the car for 5 minutes and then unlock the car, it tends to resolve the issue. I believe there is a software update available/coming to rectify the over sensitive sensor on the charging port

The most common cause of this is when DC charging and the little charge port flap doesn't spring back before the powered charge port cover closes. It will re-open when it detects an obstruction and trigger the error.

Normally, this will self clear but unfortunately it could also be that there is indeed a charge port fault and in which case requires a workshop visit unfortunately.

Locking the car and leaving for 30 mins is worth a try if no physical fault.

That’s the thing I removed the emergency cover on the left side but it wouldn’t recognize any charger.
Update: I borrowed my friends Autel scanner, read the diagnostic and cleared the messages and now the left port is accepting charging but still with the emergency cover off.
I’ll put the trouble code here
