Guys does the 2021 Turbo S come with the light package standard? She likes the puddle lights, I want the adjustable suspension. I don’t see these on build sheet, would they be standard on the ‘21 Turbo S? This is a sweet car!

My two cents: If these aren’t already included, just order without the puddle lights. They are very easy to add after the fact as long as you get the ambient lights.

Thanks that’s good to know. I see fancy night vision, and other interesting options on this car but I don’t see the ambient lighting package. I don’t know why more people don’t get it., it’s a really nice touch.

I checked it seems that ambient lighting comes standard on this year of turbo S, but maybe not all years?

I’m surprised this car doesn’t have the Burmester sound. For a C$250k car you’d have figured they’d have optioned that. The Bose is nice but the Burmester, it’s so clear. It’s definitely the best system I’ve heard in a car.

I assume that your wife wants puddle lights that project the Porsche logo (which is cool), but if that or standard puddle lights, I didn’t see any indication that either of these are listed as standard equipment both in a road test article and in the configurator standard equipment list for the new Taycan Turbo S.

I did a quick Google search and found this U.S. News & World Report article with a list of 2021 Taycan Turbo S “standard equipment”:

I don’t see Porsche-logo puddle projector lights listed as standard in 2021. The fact that folding exterior mirrors were optional along with head-up display, backup camera and mirror memory, among other popular options, leads me to believe that puddle lights projecting the Porsche logo were not standard.

I also looked at the standard and optional equipment for the new Turbo S. Puddle light projectors with the Porsche logo are optional. Folding exterior mirrors “with courtesy lights” are optional. That said, I would have to think that even the standard, non-folding external mirrors have puddle (“courtesy”) lights; however the description of exterior mirrors in the standard equipment section of the configurator indicates the color of the mirror housing and base but does not mention puddle/courtesy lights. I hope this helps.

I forget who it was, that wrote somewhere he loved his car but really wishes he had of gotten the ambient lighting package! That comment really stuck in my head! A big thanks to that chap!!! ?

What I have found is sometimes the ambient lighting package isn’t mentioned in the options or the standard features about the car in fact includes it.

here’s an example of a car that I checked out that, unless I missed it, doesn’t mention ambient lighting anywhere. It was a bright sunny day so I couldn’t check out the lighting, but I just did the sliders up to 100% in the menus didn’t see a difference but the sales rep told me you will see them at night. I’m not sure if it had the puddle / courtesy lights but that seems to be an easy at in with the ambient lights installed already

as I mentioned, here is the car I checked out with all the list of options, but no mention of ambient lighting. But more importantly,
Look at these goodies!!!! Burmester was a pleasant surprise! It’s a higher mileage car with about 50,000 km in quite a number of nicks and chips on it. A bit disappointing, considering my T has almost 100k and really looks like new.

In the US the Premium Package includes Ambient Lighting. Not sure if that is true in Canada, but you should be able to see what is currently included in that pack on the configurator.

Thanks for the reply. It's funny Porsche doesn't mention in stardard features or options but but it was included. Not a big deal really, just a nice touch to the cabin at night!
