you can then get live and historical data for generation via solidcloud app and website.. pretty standard stuff on there tbh.

you might also get that data from the a 'smart' EVSE.. the zappi for example can have a CT clamp wired (or wirelessly with a Harvi) to the PV live wire so you get all data on the myenergi app.
stick thing present and correct and didn't have to ask…

It will work on that wire. I see your battery is a Libbi- so that will commicate with the other MyEnergi kit. Mine doesn’t as it is a different make, but communicates with my inverter.

If I was starting from scratch I would probably try to get it all the same make but I think the MyEnergi stuff is more expensive for reasons that aren’t entirely clear to me.
I’ve decided against changing the podpoint for a zappi. Couldn’t work out what I would gain and pod point only a few years old so left as is.

Powerwall installed and working. Solar panels, well…roof guy decided the ‘in roof’ proposal wouldn’t fit, so didn’t strip roof on planned day. After some discussion now they will but possibly without a tile trim at bottom which after reviewing internet pics I’m ok with and in some cases look better ( still in roof, flush, but panels run to gutter). We are away next week in France, the perfect week to me to do the panels but the missus is adamant this won’t happen as doesn’t want people working on house whilst away. Madness imo but given up arguing, so solar delayed by a week until we are back.

Today charged powerwall at 7.5p overnight and ran house of it all day including the temporary air con unit ( as well as hybrid/ ev/ hot water). Should use the 13kw capacity today with the air con on, so 13kw at 7.5p vs 28p is £2.60 saved today. Doesn’t sound much but extrapolated out over the year is £950 yearly saving at current electric rates, so happy with that. Solar when up and running will obviously make this saving more.

Plastic protective coverings still on PW and gateway. Love a green glow…

Interesting, I didn't know Powerwall 3 was coming. Looking at the comparisons, sadly it's too late for me - I already have the solar panels and the inverter, and several Powerwall 2's (at least one per phase). Doesn't look like the Powerwall 3 is compatible with the Powerwall 2's, so I'd have to ditch what I have. Plus, you can only have 4 Powerwall 3's whereas you could install up to 10 Powerwall 2's (e.g. 3 per phase if you really wanted).

By doubling up Powerwall 2's on one phase you can then get 2x5kW = 10kW charge/discharge which covers our 11kW electric shower, or could handle a full 32A/7kW single phase charger or full 22kW 3-phase charger which seems to nearly match the other benefit of the Powerwall 3 (the high 11.5kW discharge rate)

Have posted a separate thread but just incase, anyone seen issues with EVSEs after solar/ battery install?

My pod point EVSE stoped working 2 weeks after battery install ( kept going solid red), phoned PP and they’ve changed settings now it works ( of a fashion) but every 10 seconds goes from 2.2kw and then 10 seconds later 6.6kw? Then just up and down between 2.2/6.6kw. Solar not active yet so just the powerwall battery must be cashing the issue?
