Dammit just noticed this now - the calipers are indeed now in black in the main images but when you bring up the 21" wheels (in my case in high gloss black) using the "info" button the calipers are still red - question is which is current and I suspect you are right in that previously the small info pics were last to load. The Std. equipment list still lists them as red though ....

The spoiler change is a a big disappointment to me. I get that depending on how you option the car, the spoiler change may be good. That being said, I based my order on a gloss black spoiler and added the window trim in high gloss black and exterior inlays in high gloss black. If the spoiler matched the point color, I may have ordered the window trim in silver etc.

For those orders already placed or generally it should be an option.

The lack of clarity and consistency with the online configurator are my biggest concerns.

In the UK, my dealer is saying the spoiler is still gloss black and the configurator is wrong, yet a couple of US dealers have said it's definitely body coloured??

As I'm due to freeze my spec 24th, I might push for something in writing from the dealer such that I have recourse should the spoiler turn up not as promised - particularly if I go for dolomite or carrara as planned...

Common sense would suggest 15 different body coloured spoilers would cost the factory more to produce than a single gloss black option and therefore they would use the opportunity to extract a bit more hard earned from those wanting it?

Another "anomaly" I just noticed: If you choose the 4+1 seating and add seatbelts in contrasting color, the back center seatbelt no longer changes color. Configurator problem or Porsche not wanting to give people a "free" seatbelt?

Hoping all these changes are bugs, especially the spoiler color.

While the car configurators now show pics of the car with the roof spoiler painted in the colour of the car, the text of the “standard features” shows : “roof spoiler painted in gloss black” !!!
And this in all countries and languages.

I saw that also. The question remains what is in error - the standard feature description or the configurator image.

My sales rep is checking tomorrow. It appears from others who have asked above, the image is correct.

My theory : it's a bug coming from the implementation to add the Sport Turismo.

To conclude that the spoiler must be glossy black because of the lack of disclaimer for the description seems like a stretch.

In any event, time will tell.

Well I was going back and forth with my SA on this one and we both simultaneously noticed that they may in fact NOT be black but rather they appear to be 'missing' in the latest viewer!! Looks like it might just be a SW glitch that is not displaying the red painted calipers. Again, if you click on the detail the calipers are there in all their glory still in red.

Interesting as asked my SA here in the US and he confirmed the opposite i.e. that my build now has a body color spoiler!

Then they going the have after painting job to make the spoiler glossy black Again. It doesnot match with white and panorama roof.

Well I just checked teh UK configurator which in the past has been way more up to date than the US version and it is still showing the 4S as having a black spoiler. Now whilst the US configurator has seen a LOT fo recent small updates and improvements (still no where near enough) it is still showing that change to body color - don't know who to believe anymore, different configurators, my SA, who knows!

Oh and yes both configurators are still not displaying the brake disks nor the calipers anymore! Just bizarre.

Not true : the UK-configurator is also still showing the coloured spoiler instead of black.

I also did and you are right.
The spoilers will be black when you select the exterior inlays painted in black.
