Taycan 4S Battery not charging to max mileage range. Feedback requested.

My battery used to charge to around 280 miles when charged to 100%. Now it only charges to 240 miles. Anyone else experiencing this problem? The dealership told me this is normal, however, I don’t trust what they are saying. Please let me know if anyone else has this problem or if this is normal.

Just catching up however my 2020 4S I just charged to 100%. 229 miles. I think the computer understands how I drive

Mine just accidentally charged to 100% yesterday ... don't understand why. I thought I'd fixed that setting last time ... anyway, my Porsche phone app reports 100%, 247 mi. I did not do any pre- battery heating and the ambient temperature overnight hereabouts was in the 60° F. range.

I have to say, this has happened twice recently and the car seems to charge to a higher level than previously.Last time I charged to 85% and the range was predicted to be about 216 mi. which was about a 15 mi. improvement of what typically happened with a home charge of 85%.

thank you. this helps tremendously. i guess i'm just comparing my taycan to my tesla, and you cant really do that.

Tesla has the exact same issue if you report based on miles (you can use battery % instead)... it's just a algorithm to predict how far the battery will take you based on your past use. Tesla's are more efficient so might tend to be more accurate though.
