Hi All
I have a 2023 Tycan rwd
The app on my phone is showing car fully charged and hasn’t changed for two weeks.
My app will not allow any remote access to unlock preheat or charge the car the car is not in privacy mode.
I have deleted the app and reinstalled I have also reset the cars PCM still no joy.
Any advice before I contact Porsche
Thanks.

What my SA told me was that Porsche changes some satellite links and some cars lost all connections (not just Taycan). So hopefully it’s an easy update. Knowing my luck I’ll have the whole system replaced.

Do you see the LTE symbol in upper right corner of PCM? If not, your car does not have cellular data comm connection to Porsche servers.

This connectivity problem occurs from time to time but generally not for weeks. If it is a satellite issue, then not much anyone could do.
I had this issue on my 2021 RWD and it wound up being corrupted software. It took quite awhile to fix it but that was early in the Taycan cycle. The bad news is it will require a visit to the workshop. The good news is that it is now a known problem and your service center has bulletins on how to fix it.

Same here. Since 3 days, no remote functions and no internet connection in the car itself (despite it showing the LTE symbol). I contacted Porsche and they told me they would investigate it.

For me, it’s up and running again (I didn’t do anything in particular)

Only thing I can tell you that I did yesterday evening: I deleted and set up again the WiFi connection and I plugged in the charger on the AC side (usually I plug it on the DC side). As weird and unrelated as it sounds, I had read that in some forum. Next morning, it worked again. It could be pure coincidence as well of course.

It's happened to me twice where I lost connectivity for extended periods. Both times the issue resolved itself "coincidentally" after charging from the AC side.

I too am having issues.. I can unlock, but cant perform any remote climate. Coincidentally, this happened after my car came back from the dealer to install the ARB7 recall diagnostic software update.....Since then, cant get it to work...I love driving this car, but j**sus f**king ch**t the software kills me....

I get the error below:

Couldn’t agree more. The car is nice, software (functionality) is fine, but software stability is utter crap. It has driven me nuts several times in just 1 month of ownership. And this is a brand new J1.2. Newest thing: CarPlay randomly refuses to connect at start

I had the LTE issue in Dec - one day after it was last with the dealer for a different issue!
It needed to go back to the dealer again so they could reset a module - it's not possible to do this via the car / app or OTA update.
The fix only took 15 mins.

The dealer has been great.
PITA that it's a 1 hour drive each way to visit them.

However, my overall opinion of Porsche's software is that it's of quite poor quality.
Plus, unlike Tesla the chance of getting continual firmware updates over many years is probably 0% - it seems they eventually address some issues but don't / won't engage in software evolution and improvements.
